3 projects from NYC join Philadelphia’s harsh noise queen Stroker for a Thursday night blowout:
Jacob Winans and Zeno Ben-Amotz ($5000) are traveling as their duo Metallica, a name just ridiculous enough to match the raucous noise they will surely conjure up. Also on the bill, two other NYC greats Axine M and Grout. Both heavily involved in the former cc space in Greenpoint, Axine M will be bringing head-rattling experiments in rhythm, synthesis and performance, while Grout will be bringing some exceptional and playful loop-based experimentalism.
